Deacon Paul DeCarlo
Deacon Paul DeCarlo was ordained a permanent Deacon on May 21, 2011, for the Diocese of Springfield, assigned to the parishes of Holy Trinity and Blessed Sacrament. He serves as a volunteer chaplain at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, and “cuddles “babies in the birthing unit, to provide relief for new mothers. He is active in the jail ministry at the Franklin County House of Correction. He serves as a religious education teacher and is an active member of the Building and Finance Council at Holy Trinity Church. He has spent time in Kingston, Jamaica working with the Missionaries of the Poor. He has taken pilgrims with him to work alongside of the brothers and sister at their missions. Deacon Paul serves on the Catholic Relief Service Advisory Board.
Deacon Paul has retired from his life in management and he and his wife Teresa live in Greenfield. They have two adult daughters and one grandchild.
